If you are having a balanced diet, exercising daily, and doing other activities to maintain your health. But not getting enough sleep or having an imbalanced sleeping pattern. Then you are at a greater risk of serious health complications. Just like food, air and water are important for us as well as proper sleep is also essential for us. But a majority of people ignore the importance of getting a proper sleeping schedule. In this article, we will discuss some of the health complications, which occur due to not getting enough sleep or having an irregular sleeping pattern. 

Skin related complications:

There are some medications too, but it is not advisable to rely on medications, especially in the long term in which they can disturb the normal functioning of the body and create side effects.  Always consult with some specialist before having any kind of medication.

Changing in the lifestyle: 

A slight change in your daily life routine is the best way to make your sleeping pattern balanced. 

Definitely, it’s not a matter of seconds but you need to develop a consistent behavior and self-determined approach to make it happen. Below are some of the tips which can help you to to make it happen: 

  • Make a good night’s rest your first priority, no matter how busy your schedule is. If you are not getting enough sleep then your body is not productive enough to manage your daily activities, so always give your rest a priority.
  • Make a routine, try going to bed and waking up at the same time even on holidays. This activity not only improves your sleep pattern but also maintains your biological clock. 
  • Avoid eating meals 2-3 hours before sleep. It will damage your sleep as well as your digestive system. Take a slight walk after having dinner. 
  •  Put your smartphones off during the night. We frequently checked our smartphones during the night and they engaged us for a longer period of time. Nowadays it is becoming one of the major reasons behind distorting sleeping patterns. 
  • Avoid consuming caffeine, tobacco, and alcohol as they are the reason behind multiple health complications.

Sleep imbalance heavily disturbs your mental health. The working of your central nervous system can be heavily damaged.
