What to do in London: experiences not to be missed:

The royalty and uniqueness of the city can be seen in its most famous symbols: from Buckingham Palace and the changing of the guard, to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, from Westminster and Big Ben, to black taxis and double decker buses.

London is cosmopolitan, alive and ready to offer a thousand ways to experience it, just choose the right path, the one that fits us perfectly certainly exists, you just need the patience to find it.

In this post I share some unmissable experiences to experience almost all sides of the capital. Here’s what to do in London if you too want to experience the city among markets, museums and shows.

Admiring London from above:

They say that to see things objectively it is necessary to take a step back. London allows you to take a leap, but upwards and up to 135 meters.

Opened to the public in 2000, the London Eye is one of the largest observation wheels in the world and takes around thirty minutes to make a complete loop. From the highest point the view is breathtaking. The British capital is at your feet: Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Saint Paul Cathedral. You might be interested in Dubai Travel Tips

Know, however, that it is not the only place from which to see it from above. You can climb the brand new The Shard *, for example, but also the historic Monument, reach the Sky Garden or the dome of Saint Paul. To you the choice.

St Paul’s Cathedral

The second day of the tour to visit London in 3 days picks up where you left off the previous day: St Paul’s Cathedral is definitely worth a visit, but it is open to the public only until 16.00 so surely the day before you could only admire it from the external. Today you can visit the Tate Modern, continue to Tower Bridge and admire the Tower of London, to end the beauty in the Soho district.

Tower of London:

To reach Saint Paul you can take the metro (line 1) and get off at the stop of the same name: then visit the interior of the cathedral that is undoubtedly worthwhile and then head to the Tate Museum, the very famous museum of modern art in London. Admission is free so you can also take a quick jump but I advise you not to miss it because it’s really worth it!

London Bridge:

Leaving the Tate Modern Museum, head towards London Bridge, the famous bridge of the Capital: here, in addition to taking the classic ritual photographs, you can stop for lunch at Borough Market, the historic market in London. Refresh yourself with a hot dog or a nice stuffed sandwich and resume your journey until you reach (in about fifteen minutes on foot) the Tower of London, the monumental complex declared Unesco World Heritage and truly wonderful.

At this point you can indulge in some relaxation: take a leisurely stroll through the city and enjoy the atmosphere, so if you want you can also go back to the hotel to change because a nice evening awaits you in the quaint neighborhood of Soho! For Australian Visitor Visa Click Here

Dinner and evening in Soho

If you are not too tired, you can spend a nice evening in Soho, the center of London’s nightlife. Take a stroll to breathe the characteristic atmosphere and stop for dinner in some restaurant. In Soho you will find practically every type of cuisine and if you want some dispassionate advice, avoid English food!

What to see in London in 3 days: Third Day
You can dedicate the third day to visiting two important museums in London: the National Gallery and the British Museum. You will need some time to enjoy the visit, so you can relax afterwards by taking a tour of Camden Town, the quaint neighborhood where you can stop for shopping and dining.

From the National Gallery in Camden Town

To reach the National Gallery, simply take the underground  and get off at Charing Cross stop. Admission to the National Gallery is free
Once you leave the National Gallery, head to the British Museum: this is also free and you can reach it with a 15-minute walk. At the British Museum you can admire the very famous Rosetta Stone, blocks of the Parthenon, sarcophagi, papyrus, prehistoric bones and artifacts from ancient Greece. A visit is practically a must and only to admire the building from the outside, with its imposing colonnade, will you want to enter!

Once in Camden Town you can take a stroll around the shops and stalls typical of this neighborhood. At this point, you can stop for dinner in one of the many restaurants to end this third day in London with a flourish!
